For as long as societies have been present in within communities, they have always consisted of hierarchical and class norms. Certain characteristics of such norms divide up the members within a community, depending on their financial income, job placements, etc. We live in a society which tends to segregate those of less ‘power’, Hao Jingfang’s stories clearly depicts such ideology. 

 

My Hybrid Publication explores the ways in which hierarchy and class can be depicted in a radical manner, creating a sense of imbalance and instability within the different versions of the publication.
